GPAT stands for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test, which is a national-level entrance exam conducted in India for admission to postgraduate pharmacy courses. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The GPAT exam is conducted once a year in the month of January. It is a computer-based test and consists of 125 multiple-choice questions. The exam is of three hours duration and is conducted in English language only. The questions in the exam are based on various topics such as pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology and others.
The GPAT exam is a highly competitive exam, and the scores obtained in this exam are used by various colleges and universities across India for admission to postgraduate pharmacy courses such as M. Pharm, MBA (Pharm), and others. The exam also serves as a qualifying exam for some scholarships and fellowships in the field of pharmacy.
To appear for the GPAT exam, candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or appearing for the final year of the course. Candidates from other countries can also appear for the exam, but they must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the NTA

- Pay the application fee using any of the available online payment options such as debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Review the application form and make necessary corrections (if any) before submitting it.
- The application fee for GPAT is 2000 for General/OBC candidates and 1000 for SC/ST/PWD candidates. The fee can be paid using any of the online payment options available on the website.
